Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: June 6, 2026

1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

Turpin Cemetery Inc is committed to ensuring that our website and our physical cemetery grounds are accessible to all people, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that everyone โ€” regardless of ability โ€” should be able to access information about our mission, make donations, request burial records, sign up to volunteer, and visit the resting places of their loved ones with dignity and ease.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Irvine, Kentucky community and families across Estill County, we recognize that accessibility is not an optional feature but a fundamental expression of our values. Just as we work to ensure that pathways through our cemetery are navigable, we work to ensure that pathways through our digital presence are equally open.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 provides a shared international standard for web accessibility across four principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR). Our goal is to meet or exceed Level AA conformance across all pages of our website.
